Mr. Jack Reed Williams, Sr.
Jack R. Williams, Sr., 80 years of age, passed away on February 3, 2015, at the McNairy Health Care Center in Selmer, Tennessee. He was born in Haverhill, Mass., the son of Kenneth and Helen Williams. He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, June Lopez Williams and a sister Betty Williams of Haverhill Mass.
Jack was a man of many talents. In his early years, living in Greenville, Mississippi with June, his passions ranged from serving in the USAF, auto mechanic to underwater diving inspections. Upon retirement they, resided in Gulf Shores, Alabama until June’s death in October 2012.
Jack was a quiet but humorous, loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by two sons, Jack R. Williams, Jr. of Selmer, Tennessee and Jay B. Williams of Gulf Shores, Alabama and four grandchildren Lauren, Reed, Wes and Madison. Jack also is survived by three brothers; Stanley, Wayne and Kenneth Williams and a host of nephews and nieces living in the Massachusetts area.
Serves will be held in Gulf Shores, Alabama at a later date.
