Jackie Petersen

Mr. Jackie Dennis Petersen age 69, of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed away on November 4, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee.

He was born on February 4, 1951 in Henderson, Tennessee to the late Jack Petersen and Victoria Easley Petersen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Petersen.

Mr. Jackie was a man of many talents, he was a certified alcohol/drug counselor, Night Supervisor at Western Mental Health Institute, worked in Home Health, Worked at Bolivar and Jackson Hospitals as an RN. He also was an avid fisherman, where he was a part of the Bolivar Fishers Club with his fishing partner, Jerry Rhodes.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Petersen; one son, Jackie "Pepper" Petersen (Jamie) of Helena, MT and one daughter, Jennifer Petersen Stephens of Burlinson; two step sons, Gregg Calkins (Ruth) of Jackson and Linden Hill of Parsons, KS; one step daughter, Lyndy Hill of Greenville, KY; three brothers, Timothy Petersen (Debra) of Whiteville, Victor Petersen (Linda) of Pocahontas and Michael Petersen of Jackson; one sister, Lynda Petersen Settle (Kevin) of Montezuma; seven grandchildren, JP Stephens, of Burlinson, Avary Ann Stephens of Burlinson, Jack Petersen of Helena MT, Gracie Petersen of Helena, MT, Isabel Calkins, Amy Calkins and step grandson Linden Hill. Other survivors include nieces and nephews, James Petersen (Sabrina) of Byran, GA, Christopher Petersen of Tallahassee, FL, Dustin Petersen (Heather) of Medon, TN, Devin Jones of Sun City West, AZ, Timothy Petersen of Whiteville, TN, Tiffany Wilbanks (Jody) of Tiplersville, MS, Bradley Petersen (Amber) of Jacks Creek, TN, Heather Petersen (Justin) of Pocahontas, TN, Maria Petersen of Gadsden, AL, Jesse Petersen (Danielle) Millington, TN, Jack Homeier, Ryan Homeier and Gracie Homeier, both of Montezuma, TN, and great nieces and nephews.

There are no services scheduled at this time due to Covid-19, per family's request.
