Mr. James Warren Clepper age 84 of Alamo, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his residence.
He was born April 23, 1938 in Navasota, TX to the late John Franklin Clepper and Elis Glass Clepper. He was a member of Brookhaven Church in McKinney, TX, a Gideon, retired as a machinist inspector for Texas Instruments and proudly served our country in the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers, Artie Mae Flemming, Mary Sue Davenport, Irvin Clepper, Jerriel Clepper, Leland Clepper, Paul Clepper and John Clepper.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Mary Ann Tinker Clepper of Alamo; daughter, Penny Clepper of Colorado; son, Brian Clepper of Alamo. Other survivors include a grandson Matt Clepper as well as two step-grandchildren, Dawson Lobb and Saelah Lobb.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank Avalon Hospice for their personal care and love of James.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Clepper will be conducted Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Bells First Baptist Church with Military Honors. The Clepper family will receive friends at the church of Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
