Mr. James Michael Johnson, age 74, departed this life on December 14, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee.
He was born on November 24, 1944 in Portland, Tennessee to the late James Davis Johnson and Marie Durrett Johnson. James was a retired X-Ray Technician.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
James is survived by his loving wife, Freeda Upton Johnson of Jackson, Tennessee; two sons, Frederick Johnson of Portland, Tennessee and Louis Johnson of Milan, Tennessee; one sister Janice Barnes of Winter Haven, Florida; and four grandchildren, Paige Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Nathan Johnson, and Lily Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Maple Springs Cemetery.
