Mr. James Calvin Myers, Jr., age 84, of Jackson, TN, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the West Tennessee Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN.
Mr. Myers wishes were to be cremated.
He was born in McMinnville, TN to the late James Calvin Myers, Sr. and Irene Blanks Myers.
Mr. Myers retired from the Tennessee State Parks as a district manager. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army.
His parents and one sister, Mary Evelyn Louder, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Anita H. Myers of Jackson, TN; son, James Calvin Myers, III and wife Mary of Jackson, TN; daughters, Leslie Knipple and husband Brian of Arlington, VA and Kendall Allard and husband Jeff of McKinney, TX; brothers, Allan Myers of California and Tommy Myers of McMinnville, TN; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
