James David Roberts

David Roberts, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Milan, Tennessee.

He was born on September 14, 1945 in Obion County to the late Daniel Herman Roberts and Mary Louise Caudle Roberts. David proudly served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City, Tennessee. He enjoyed hunting and playing golf. David was a lifetime member of the NRA.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Roberts, Gordon Roberts and Waymon Joe Roberts.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Carolyn Adkison Roberts of Jackson, Tennessee; son, Jeffrey Lee Roberts and wife Ann of Manor, Texas; daughter, Amy Carol Riggins and husband James of Jackson, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Linsey Riggins; and several nieces and nephews.

Per David's request, the family is following his wishes with no public services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in David's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, The

American Parkinson's Disease Association or The Alzheimer's Association.
