Jane Garrard, age 92, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Humboldt.
She was born August 2, 1931, in Troy, Tennessee to the late Irvin L. Tillman and Christine Etheridge Tillman. She was a member of Eastern Star and an avid church member who was involved until she was no longer able.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, D H Garrard; son, Tracy Garrard; and brother, Kenneth Tillman, Sr.
She is survived by her son, George Garrard and wife Rhonda of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Susan Covington and husband Jerry of Milton, Florida and Sallie Jones and husband Michael of Jackson; and brother, Bobby Tillman and wife Beverly of Powell.
Other survivors include thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Gadsden First Baptist Church.
