Janice Kay McGowan

Janice McGowan, age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at NHC in Milan, Tennessee.

She was born on September 29, 1948 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late John Kesot and Marjorie Kesot.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Pete McGowan and two sisters, Jean Smith and Gerry Frisk.

She is survived by her son, John Poyhonen and his wife Jennifer of Milan, Tennessee; sister, Judy Kesot of San Francisco, California; and two grandchildren, Cameron Poyhonen and Owen Poyhonen.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at The Hidden Gem (Old Medina School) in Medina, Tennessee.
