Mr. Jerry Brewster
Retired Major Jerry Brewster, 75, passed away on August 28, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. He is survived by his spouse Joy; his daughters Phyllis, Bonnie, Tami, Robin, Jeri, and Niki; his son Tim; his sister Violet; his brother Chat; and his twenty-three grandchildren.
Jerry was born in Amonate, Virginia, and graduated from Richlands High School in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. After high school, he joined the Marine Corps and served for 22 years. He retired, after achieving the rank of Major. Jerry and Joy married in Beaufort, North Carolina, and raised five daughters and one son. While supporting his family, Jerry attended college at Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma, TN where he received a degree in Associates of Science in Engineering Technology in 1983.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home at 2pm on Saturday, September 13th.
