Mr. Jerry Edward Higgs age 76 of Milan, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born September 16, 1947, in McKenzie to the late J W Higgs and Mary Blackburn Higgs. Mr. Higgs was a retired electrical salesman and a United States Army Vietnam Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Cochran Higgs of Milan; son, Donald Higgs and wife Mendi of Atwood; daughter, Angela Monroe and husband Joe of Milan; sister, Sylvia Litke of Loudon. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Collin, Mary, Anessa, Abby and Zada.
A celebration of life of Mr. Higgs will be conducted Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Baptist Church. The family will recieve friends on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour.
