Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Johnson, age 47, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Crockett County.
Mr. Johnson was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to Fred Johnson and Sally Mae Lovell Pyles and was educated in the local schools. Mr. Johnson was a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Johnson and brother, Randy Lumley.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his mom, Sally Pyles; father, Mike Pyles; son, Marcus Allen Johnson; brother, Wayne Lumley and wife Jane; sisters, Linda Faye Abbitt and husband Terry, Denise Middleton and husband James, Rena Moore and husband Harry, Tammy Powell and husband Scott; step-brother, Todd Pyles; sister-in-law, Maelynn Lumley; a very spelcial furry friend, Christy and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the Johnson family will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home
