November 6, 2012 marks the passing of the beloved Joan Marie DeTrain. Born April 5, 1946 in Chicago, llionois, she was the daughter of the late James and Ethel Nichols. Joan has resided in Medina, TN the past 31 years where she was a member of Latham's Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Joey and John DeTrain and brother, Jimmy Nichols. She is survived by two grandchildren, Lisa and Adam DeTrain, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Latham's Chapel Baptist Church in Medina with burial following. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday evening from 4 till 8 p.m. at Medina Funeral Home.
