Joan Vermillion

Mrs. Joan Vermillion age 79 of South Fulton, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at her residence.

She was born August 30, 1944, in Obion County to the late Lawrence Matthews and Gertie Hardy Matthews. Mrs. Vermillion worked for twenty-nine years at Kohler until retiring. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant twin daughters; step-son, Erik Vermillion and a brother, Jackie Matthews.

Survivors include her husband, Hank Vermillion of South Fulton; brother, W.C. Matthews of South Fulton; sister, Maxine Matthews of Martin; granddaughters, Amber, Sylvia and Hailey; seven great grandchildren, Alice, Colton, Brayden, Giovanni, Tristan, Jacob and Clay; step son, Michael Bradley of Rives.

Mrs. Vermillion's family is honoring her request and no formal services will be held.
