Joe Harvey Kinchen Jr,

65, of Henderson, TN, succumbed to cancer at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday November 21, 2012.

Jr. is survived by his wife Sheila of 46 years, daughters Selina (Mike) Shackelford, Tammy (Mitch) Collins, son Troy (Amanda) Kinchen, mother Zola Kinchen, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 8 grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Jr. was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.

Joe retired from the TN DOT, was a Mason and Scottish Rite member. He was a devout Christian who loved God and family. He attended New Beginning Church, loved serving his community and missions in Mexico.

A special thank you to all the Medical Providers involved in his care, and to the many friends and extended family that have offered prayers and support during this difficult time.

Our family is comforted in the knowledge that he is now at peace in heaven with his Lord and Savior.

Visitation will be Wednesday November 28 from 5:00 until 6:00pm in Henderson, TN at Christ Community Church on White Avenue. A memorial Service will be held in his honor immediately following visitation.
