J.N. Ragan
John Neal Ragan age 78 born August 22, 1934, he departed this life January 23, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents James Oscar Ragan and Cleora Gibson Ragan, brother; James Ragan, sister; Earlene Futrell.
Mr. Ragan graduated from J.B. Young High School in Bemis, TN and served in the U.S. Army recording the most jumps ever as a Paratrooper. He was a retired electrician and refrigeration repairman.
Mr. Ragan is survived by his brother; Lloyd (Nellie) Ragan of Jackson, sister; Nancy Terry of Indiana, and his friends at Sadie Lou’s.
Funeral services will be 3 pm Saturday, January 26, 2013 from That Church in Medina, TN, with Pastor Ronnie Ragan officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery in Jackson, TN. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 2 – 3 pm Saturday at That Church, 8 Saddle Club Rd, Medina, TN
