Johnnie Carol Johnson

Johnnie Johnson, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at her home in Jackson, TN. 

She was born in Alamo, TN on September 24, 1960 to the late Tolbert Fanning Cates and Mary Helen Phillips Cates. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her Nephew-in-Law, Keenan Luckey. Johnnie enjoyed to hunt, fish and simply be outdoors. She loved to go to the river with her family and watch Nascar racing. Johnnie was passionate about her work at Gerdau during her time there. She was a member at Spring Creek Church of Christ. 

Johnnie is survived by her husband, Darryl Johnson of Jackson; mother-in-law, Martha A. Johnson of Jackson; Brother, Tolbert Cates of Crockett Mills; Sisters, Rita (Tim) Matocha of Coxville and Anna Brasfield of Jackson; Nephews, Travis Brasfield and TC (Brooke) Cates; Nieces, Katie (Jason) Mansfield, Jessie Luckey and Amber (Chris) Carmichael; Great-Nephews, Jake, Rege and Wesley.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Sunset View Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the church.
