Johnny A. Coop, age 57, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 6, 2013, after a short battle with cancer.
Johnny was born on February 2, 1956 in Humboldt, TN. He attended Alamo Schools and lived his entire life in the Coxville community. He was the owner of Heavy Equipment Service.
He is survived by his wife; Carol Warren Coop, mother; Lois Coop of Coxville, three sisters; Nancy Coop of Nashville, TN, Susan (Chris) Haynes of Shelbyville, TN, and Donna (Glenn) Roberts of Humboldt, TN, aunt; Betty (Fred) Blake of Memphis, TN, two nieces, one nephew, three great nieces, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; Harold Coop, brother; Roger Coop, grandparents; Rodney and Mattie Lou Coop and George and Effie Loken, and aunt; Nell Munn.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, July 13th at Union United Methodist Church, 159 Bradford Hwy, Trenton, TN, with visitation at the church from 12:00 to 2:00.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Frank Knight Memorial Fund, Union United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society, or the Speedway Children's Charity, 151 Speedway Blvd, Bristol, TN 37620.
