Funeral services for Mr. JP Fonville, age 80, of Humboldt, TN will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at New Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Prescott and Rev. Steven Fonville officiating. Burial will follow in New Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Fonville died February 1, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Gibson County to the late John Burnice Fonville and Annie Bett Graves Fonville and was educated in the local schools.
Mr. Fonville spent most of his working career with sand blasting.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Louise Autry Fonville on December 9, 2011; his parents; two brothers, Junior and Wayne; one sister, Margaret Robbins.
Mr. Fonville is survived by his sons, Tom Fonville and wife Judy, Don Fonville; daughter, Sarah Mays and husband Jimmy, all of Humboldt; grandchildren, Matt Mays, Ashley Day (Anthony), Dustin Fonville; great-grandchild, Austin Day; brothers, Charles, O’Neal and Ray Fonville.
Visitation with the Fonville family will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at Medina Funeral Home from 5 until 9 p.m.
