Mrs. Julie Ann Barnes Bettie age 59 of Medina, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born August 24, 1960 to Barbara Carpentier Barnes and late Carroll Barnes. Mrs. Bettie worked as a CRS for Jackson Madison County General Hospital for thirty-five years as well as four additional years at the Kirkland Cancer Center.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dave Barnes.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Bettie; daughter, Jackie Bettie; mother, Barbara Carpentier Barnes; one brother and four sisters, Steve Barnes, Vicki Nelson, Cheri Lambert, Crissy McClain and Paula Eckberg.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Bettie will be conducted Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Medina Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Latham’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
