Junelle Copeland Grissom, age 80, of Benton, KY is in the care of Medina Funeral Home, where the Funeral Service will be held 1pm Saturday, May 20, 2017 with a burial following at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 5-8pm and Saturday prior to the service 11-1pm at the funeral home.
Junelle was born June 4, 1936 in Adamsville, TN and departed this life May 14, 2017 in Benton, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Grissom; son, Myron Dale Grissom; parents, Rubel & Annie Copeland; sisters, Ruth Rush & Dorothy Bolton; and brother, Eddie Copeland.
Her family says she loved gardening, it was one of her favorite hobbies. She was also a very talented oil painter. Junelle was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her son, James Tony (Mary) Grissom and their children, Dustin Grissom, Elvis Hatch, Thomas Hatch, & Tammy Willis; daughter, Pamela (Paul) Hand and their children, Nikki Ridling, Candice Blank, & Craig Carlisle; daughter, Annette (Sammy) Chriswell and their child, Danielle Alonso; Boo Grissom and his children, Mandi Thornhill, Chrissy Buckley, Jessie Grissom, Alexis Grissom, & BooBoo Grissom; children of Myron Dale Grissom- Caleb Grissom, Cody Grissom, & Savanna Thomas; and 24 great-grandchildren.
