Laney Elizabeth Stovall

Laney Stovall, age 20, passed from this life on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at her home in Humboldt, Tennessee.

She was born on June 15, 2003, in Jackson, Tennessee to LeeAnn Medlin Hughes and the late Tim Stovall.

In addition to her father, Laney was preceded in death by her niece, Kaylee Dotson.

She is survived by her mother, LeeAnn Hughes and step-father Allen of Humboldt, Tennessee; sisters, Leah Dotson of Gadsden, Tennessee and Shataria Gray of Florida; brothers, Josh Keller (Tesla) of Bells, Tennessee, Jacob Keller of Dayton, Ohio, Lucas Stovall of Humboldt, Tennessee, Joshua Hughes of Tiptonville, Tennessee, Christopher Stovall of Florida, Nick Stovall of Florida and Timothy Justin Stovall of Florida.
Other survivors include nieces and nephews, Cloie Dotson, Oakley Dotson, Hattie Dotson, Keelan Dotson, Benton Sylvester, Emma James Sylvester, Jentry Keller and Maisy Keller.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, June 14, 2024, in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Pastor Spencer Ricketts officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home and again on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.

The family requests that if you feel the need to donate, in memory of Laney, donations can be made to a suicide awareness prevention program of your choice. If you know anyone struggling with a mental health illness, encourage them to seek help or talk to someone they are comfortable with.
