Mr. Larry Prater, Sr., age 75, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Covington, Tennessee.

He was born on September 17, 1945 in Crockett County to the late William Edgan Prater and Virgie Grey Prater.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Larry was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Prater of Covington, Tennessee; son, Larry Joe Prater, Jr. (Sue Ann) of Brownsville, Tennessee; two daughters, Jody Burns of Covington, Tennessee and Jeanette Glover (James Spurlin) of Gates, Tennessee; fifteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
