Mr. Larry Stewart, age 74, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home in Jackson, Tennessee.

He was born October 19, 1946 in Hardeman County to the late Calvin Coolidge Stewart and Margie Lee Stewart King.

Mr. Stewart was a 1964 graduate of North Side High School. He furthered his education with an Associates Degree in Chemistry from Jackson State and later received his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Physics from Union University. Mr. Stewart served thirteen years in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He retired as the Environmental Plant Manager at Milan Arsenal Ammunition Plant. Larry and his wife Linda owned and operated Stewart Farms where they raised cows and were also in the hay business until 2018. He owned SES Environmental, was a World War II history buff, and enjoyed gardening and helping with canning. Mr. Stewart was an avid reader and his favorite author was Louis L'Amour.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Coolidge Stewart, Jr. "Acie".

He is survived by his wife, Linda K. Smith Stewart; son, Jason "Jake" Wayne Stewart; daughter, Shawn Renee Stewart Pool (Terry); three grandchildren, Priscilla Renee Stewart, Dillon Ray Pool, and Matthew Vincent Pool; and two great grandchildren, Levi Allen Wayne Stewart and Briar William Foster.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Stewart Farms on Potts Chapel Road in Jackson, Tennessee. The family requests that the attire be casual.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Larry's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital or RIFA.
