Mr. Lee Roy Humphrey, age 77, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on January 8, 1945 in Halls, Tennessee to the late Charley Humphrey and Joy Bailey Humphrey. Lee Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny Humphrey, Lucky Humphrey and William Humphrey; three sisters, Joyce Jean Mitchson, Mary Katherine Noblin and Sharon Rose; and grandson, Brian Keith Sipes.

Lee Roy is survived by his wife, Teresia Humphrey of Gibson, Tennessee; two daughters, Deborah Humphrey of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Donna Hay of Dyersburg, Tennessee; step son, Chris Guinn of Humboldt, Tennessee; two brothers, Robert Humphrey of Birdsong, Tennessee and Jerry Humphrey of Memphis, Tennessee; sister, Brenda Carter of Hornlake, Mississippi; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
