Ms. Lena Roberson

Ms. Lena Roberson, age 98, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Bailey Park Community Living Center in Humboldt, TN.

Services will be held Monday, December 21, 2015 at Humboldt First United Metohdist Church with Rev. Tom Spellings officiating.

Ms. Roberson was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bill Roberson; her parents, Milton and Eva Kissel Swims; brothers, Verbal and Willard Swims.

She was born in Ashport, TN and lived in Ripley, TN until moving to Ontario, California in 1957. Ms. Roberson worked in food services with Sears until retiring in 1979. Lena was an active member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Upland, teaching Sunday School and managing the nursery. Lena moved to Apple Avlley, CA in 1985 and returned to Tennessee in 2005 with her daughter and son-in-law.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Craig and husband Maurice of Humboldt; grandchildren, Renee Fischer, Kelly Craig and Frank Ysais; great-grandson, Scott Morgan; great-great granddaughter, Daryan Morgan.
