Mrs. Leona Avery, age 64, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at her home in Jackson, Tennessee.

She was born on April 4, 1957 in Cook County, Illinois to the late Travis Beecham and Virginia Johnson Beecham.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Leona was preceded in death by her brother, Travis Beecham and sister, Doris Beecham.

She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Terry Avery; son, David Avery (Holli) of Jackson, Tennessee; daughter, Tonyna Riddle of Jackson, Tennessee; step-daughter, Cynthia Miller (David) of Lexington, Tennessee; two sisters, Debbie McPeake of Henderson, Tennessee and Lisa Beecham  Conger of Mason, Tennessee; and twelve grandchildren, Brittany Ayotte, Delaney Hayes, Gage Riddle, Abbie Avery, Alex Avery, Noah Riddle, Addison Avery, Taylor Woods, Kassidy Robinson, Sydney Wyatt, Kaylee Hurt and Caden Hayes.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 11, 2021 at First United Pentecostal Church in Lexington, Tennessee.
