Linda Growe, of Jackson, TN is in the care of Medina Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 8th, from 5-7 pm in the chapel of Englewood Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 9th, at 10:00 am at Ridgecrest Cemetery, Jackson, TN with Dr. Brent Lay officiating.
Linda was born October 1, 1938 in Mississippi County, AR and departed this life September 5, 2016 in Jackson, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband; John P. Growe, Sr, parents; Albert and Willie Melvina (Leary) Mann, and brothers; Myrilean Mann, Loin A (LA) Mann, and James (John Henry) Bailey.
She attended and was a member of Englewood Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, playing Bingo and a good game of Bridge. She also enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and family.
Linda is survived by her sons; Johnny (Rita) Growe and Michael Growe, all of Jackson, TN, daughter; Gina (Dave Hustava) Growe, Springfield, IL, grandson; Ricky Stout, Springfield, MO, granddaughter; Darcey Fowler, Lexington, TN, sister in law; Lana Growe, Seattle, WA and brother in law; Don (Sue) Growe, Whidby Island, WA.
