Margie Plunk

Mrs. Margie Ann Plunk age 80, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 in The Waterford in Smyrna, TN

She was born October 2, 1940 in Jackson,TN to the late Fred Thomas Cardwell and Vina Mae Anderton Cardwell. Mrs. Plunk was a homemaker and member of Wards Grove Baptist Church

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Melbon Plunk.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Bishop (Jacky) of Murfreesboro and Carol Plunk (Kristi) of Nolensville; one sister, Freda Robbins of Mississippi. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Shane Bishop and Cruze Plunk as well as a great grandchild, Riley Bishop.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Plunk will be conducted Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Skelton officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday June 7, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again will resume on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until the service hour.
