Marilyn Grogan, age 89, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at West Tennessee Volunteer Hospital in Martin.
She was born on January 14, 1935, in Friendship, Tennessee to the late James Clark King and Nina Robinson King.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred B. Grogan; two sons, Billy Joe Grogan and Rusty Grogan; two brothers, Billy Joe King and James King; and four sisters, Ima Gene Turner, Dean Martin, Corine Rogers and Laquita Ann Dunn.
She is survived by three sons, David Grogan and wife Teresa of Paris, Steve Grogan of Martin and James Grogan of South Fulton; two daughters, Sharon Grogan Collier of South Fulton and Stacy Gatewood and husband Randel of South Fulton; granddaughter, Ashley Grogan that she raised as her own.
Other survivors include one sister, Gail Turner and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
