Funeral services for Ms. Martha Ballard, age 84, will be held February 14, 2016 at 2 pm in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Milan, TN. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home and on Sunday from 1 pm until service time.
Ms. Ballard died February 11, 2016 at Humboldt Nursing Home.
She was born in Crockett County, TN to the late Jack and Wille Brown Cowan. Ms. Ballard was a long time employee of MAAP.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Noona Ballard; second husband, James Hunter; granddaughter, Melissa Ballard; great-granddaughter, Charlie Brown.
She is survived by her children, Ray Ballard, Sandy Siddens, Betty Barbara, Sammie Ballard, and Judy Ballard; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and one unborn great-great grandchild; five siblings, Edward Cowan, Jerry Cowan, Edith Cooper, Eugene Cowan, Duey Cowan.
