Mary Lucille Luther Beck age 79 was born February 27, 1934 in Miston, TN to Everett and Elizabeth Luther who both preceded her in eternal rest. She passed October 12, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers; James, Odell, and Frank Luther and one sister; Sheila Luther Robbins. She was a resident at Alamo Nursing Home for many years. After a long battle of failing health at Jackson General with her daughter Paula and sister Lisa at her side, our Father called her home to eternal rest.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter; Paula Davis (Rodney Vaughn), her son; Johnny (Janet) Beck, one loving sister; Lisa (Anthony) Reddin of Pinson, TN, two grandchildren Kodi and Dylan Beck, two sisters-in-law; Barbara and Wanda Luther, one brother-in-law; Jerry Robbins, and a host of nieces and nephews.
If she were here she would whisper in your ears, I’m Free! No pain to bound me anymore or chains holding me. My soul is resting just another blessing, praise the Lord Hallelujah I’m Free!
A memorial service for Ms. Beck was held at Hopewell Baptist Church in Friendship, TN with Pastor Eddie Burnett officiating, and burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
