Matt departed this life Sunday March 13, 2016 at Jackson General. He was born in Houston, TX on November 7, 1976. He graduated from the Police Academy and was a Sheriffs Deputy with the Madison County Sheriffs Department.
Matt is survived by his wife of 16 years Linda Doty, daughters; Taylor Doty of Oakfield, Jessica Stanley of Marrero, LA, father; Alan Dale Doty, brother & sister in law; Kevin and Mary Edens, niece; Lily Edens, nephew; Kamden Edens. He was preceded in death by his mother; Janice Leslie.
