Merle June Linebarger Everett, age 91, passed away October 25, 2015 after a brief illness. Originally from Maryville, TN, Mrs. Everett moved to Humboldt in 1995 to be near her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Sam Watridge. In addition to her parents, Asa and Ida Linebarger, she was preceded in death by her husband Golmer B. Everett, their son and daughter-in-law, Barclay F. and Judy Everett, her brothers, Ray and Leon Linebarger, sister, Veva Knox and son-in-law, Sam Watridge.
Mrs. Everett is survived by her daughter, Jean Watridge; several special nieces, nephews and cousins; her church family at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Humboldt, especially Wendell and Wanda Brown who introduced her to Emmanuel and remained good friends.
Graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Rex Everett Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Maryville, TN.
