Mia Meeks age 13 was born August 6, 2000 in Memphis, TN. She passed September 2, 2013 at her home.
Mia was a student at Milan Middle School where she was a part of the color guard. She was very kind, loving, and sweet child who loved her friends, animals, skating, and bible school. She was the family’s sunshine who was deeply loved by her mother, grandmother, and brother.
Mia leaves her Mother; Kelli Meeks of Milan, father; Derrick Knight of California, brother; Maurice Marcus of Milan, grandmother; Patricia Lynn Duke of Milan, uncle; Phillip Schwartz of Memphis, TN, cousins; Christy Capers, Lyndsee Schwartz, Paige Schwartz, Jordan Capers, Jessie Adams, Sadie Adams and Waylon all of Memphis, TN, Noah Cristofori of Gibson, TN and Mikella Gast of Bull Shoals, AR.
Funeral services will be 4 pm Saturday, September 7, from the Chapel of Medina Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 – 4 pm prior to services Saturday.
