Michael Burton, age 66, passed away on October 27, 2022 in Paris, Tennessee.

He was born on March 24, 1956 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late James Lonnie Burton and Lena Duffield Burton.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Osborne and Ricky Burton; sisters, Pat Mayer and Betty Collins; and nephews, Richard Wiginton, Johnny Wiginton, and Danny Collins

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Burton of Paris, Tennessee; son, Issac Burton of Paris, Tennessee; two daughters, Brenna Laffoon (Austin) of Paris, Tennessee and Bailee Burton (Zach) of Paris, Tennessee; and two sisters, Bobbie Wiginton of Springville, Tennessee and Linda Bannon of Paris, Tennessee.

Other survivors include three grandchildren, Paisley Laffoon, Tatum Laffoon and Ophelia Laffoon; many nieces and nephews; and bonus children, Emma, John and Victoria Hallisey, Kim Tull, Shray Crawford & children, Sarah Humphreys & children, Christian Holland (Kayla), and Christina Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at First Church of the Nazarene in Paris, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. until the service hour at the church.
