Michael Cheney, age 70, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on July 7, 1953 in Long Beach, California to the late William G. Cheney and Betty F. Cheney.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Cheney.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry Cheney and his wife Mary of Porter Ranch, California; sister, Glenna Hopkins of Humboldt, Tennessee; nephews, Glenn Hopkins of Humboldt, Tennessee and Brent Cheney of California; and nieces, Deborah Hernandez of Humboldt, Tennessee, Elizabeth Rodriguez of Colorado, Kayla Mabee of California, Kimberly Preciado of California, and Christine Pattillo of Nashville, Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held at a late date in California.
