Memorial services for Mr. Mike Kernodle, age 57, will be held 2 pm Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Milan with Bro. Terry Branscum officiating and military honors.
Mr. Kernodle died September 23, 2014 at Methodist East in Memphis, TN.
He was born in Trezevant, TN and was educated in the local schools. Mr. Kernodle worked for Ameristeel in Jackson; was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.; held a 2nd degree black belt in martial arts. He was a wonderful father and husband.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Antonietta Marchetti Kernodle; sons, Michael Travis Kernodle, James Donald Kernodle all of Milan; parents, Donald and Martha Kernodle of Milan; brothers, Greg and Steve Kernodle; sister, Veneice Lee.
The family request that memorials be made to the Red Cross, St. Jude or Methodist University Hospital in leiu of flowers.
