Nina Ann Thomas Maroney
Nina Thomas Maroney passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 after a long illness. She was born October 3, 1937 in Chester County, TN to late Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Thomas.
She graduated from Chester County High School. She attended Freed Hardeman University and earned degrees from Union University and the University of Memphis. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Henderson, TN.
She was married to William Maroney, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind her only child, Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Maroney Ricketts and husband Tony Ricketts.
She taught school in he Madison County School System for 30 years when she retired in 1991.
She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, and her six brothers and sisters. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
It was the wishes of Mrs. Maroney to be cremated with no public service or memorial. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank her many special care givers that she’s had over the last several years.
