Funeral services for Ms. Peggy Carey, age 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014, at First General Baptist Church in Milan, TN with Don White officiating. Burial will follow in Latham's Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Carey died Friday, November 21, 2014 at her home in Milan.
She was born in Munford, TN to the late AC Floyd, Sr. and Mary Lee Littles Floyd. Ms. Carey was a member of First General Baptist Church in Milan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Carey; son, Mark Carey; daughter, Peggy Sue Carey; siblings, Shirley Ann Floyd, Lee Roy Floyd, Billy Wayne Floyd, Danny Floyd, Ricky Floyd, Betty Sue Remington.
She is survived by her children, Joe Wayne Carey, Kim Flake, Larry Carey; siblings, Diane Husted, Mary Lou Berford, Brenda Berford, Martha Greer, Angie McCoy, Tommy Floyd, AC Floyd, Jr., Jerry Lee Floyd; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the Carey family will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 12 until 2 p.m. at the church
