Mrs. Peggy Laverne Murry Graves age 72 of Jackson, formerly of Trenton, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at her residence.
She was born November 14, 1951, in Humboldt to Dorothy Nell Richardson Murry and the late W.T. Murry.
Mrs. Graves loved her family as her mother and daughter were her world. She enjoyed a good conversation, a good book, good music and sitting on her front porch. Mrs. Graves graduated from Peabody High School, class of 1972.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Lambert and Cathy Lawson.
Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Graves of Jackson; mother, Dorothy Nell Richardson Murry of Trenton; sister, Barbara Anthony of Lexington as well as two brothers, Rick Murry and Greg Murry both of Trenton.
She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Graves will be conducted Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Whitehall Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kirkland Cancer Center in Jackson or RIFA in Jackson.
