Phillip Beck

Mr. Phillip Delane Beck, age 67, passed away peacefully altho home of his son on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

Phillip, the son of Henry Charles "Hank" and Patricia Whidden Beck, was born March 8, 1953 in Port Saint Joe, Florida. He and his family lived in Florida and Tennessee growing up. In 1971 Phillip joined the Army until he time he was honorably discharged. Phillip worked for National Tank Maintenance Corporation in Humboldt, Tennessee where he worked alongside his father and brother. Phillip loved anything he could collect, from coins and stamps to brass spittoons. He also loved racing, which is where he developed a passion for racing jet boats.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father and brother, Michael Ray Beck.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Ryan Crossett (Kim); daughter, Elizabeth Leanne Beck; mother, Patricia Whidden Beck; sister, Delores Beck Saunders; two grandsons, Serlin Crossett and Joseph Crossett; three nieces, Rebecca Saunders Trimble (Levi), Hayley Saunders, Julie Beck Crenshaw (John) ; and great niece, Hayley Moore.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the State Veteran's Home in Humboldt, Tennessee in Phillip's honor.
