Age 72 entered his eternal home on Saturday July 29, 2012, after an 8 month battle with cancer. he was born October 22, 1939 to Robert and Lucy Wilson Elliott in Newton, NC. After growing up there he spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy. While serving at Millington Naval Air Station he met and Married his wife of 55 years Sondra Jo Elliott. He graduated from Lambuth College and Memphis Theological Seminary. He was ordained in the United Methodist Church and served churches in the Memphis Conferences since 1971. He continued to serve after retiring and gave up his last appointment in April of this year due to his declining health.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, 2 brothers.
Glenn leaves his wife Jo Elliott, children; Debbie (Steve) Ferrell of Jackson, Dewayne Elliott of Colorado Springs, CO, Terry (Darla) Elliott of Greenfield, Jeff (Dana) Elliott of Jackson, Shannon (Robyn) Elliott of Jackson, sisters – in – law Doris Elliott, Carolyn Elliott, 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday July 30 at the Medina First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services are 11 am, Tuesday July 31, 2012 from the Medina First United Methodist Church with Rev. Wade Cox, Rev. John Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow in White Rose Cemetery, Gibson, TN

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Research Hospital or Reelfoot Rural Ministries.
