Robert was born in Gibson County, TN on May 26, 1926 and departed this life February 25, 2016 at Bailey Park in Humboldt, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chamus & Beulah Davenport, Sr.; sisters, Cola Williams, Liz Silverstine, Betty Malone, & Aline Pitts; and brothers, Chamus Davenport, Jr., Wayne Davenport, & James Davenport.
He was married to the love of his life, Georgia Davenport, for 67 years. Robert was an avid golfer. His wife stated that he loved to play whenever he could.
Robert is survived by his wife, Georgia Davenport; son, Bobby Davenport; and grandson, Christopher Davenport.
