Mr. Robert Presley Logan, Jr.
Robert “Bob” Presley Logan, Jr. was born May 21 st , 1935, in Starkville, Mississippi, and passed away on March 28 th 2015 at his home in Medina Tennessee. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marguerite Sullivan Logan, his sister, Rose Marie Logan Browning, by his children, David Logan, Molly Logan Hood, and Grady Logan, and by his grandchildren, Blair Logan, Sarah Hood, Catherine Hood, Sullivan Logan, & Silas Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Logan, Sr., and Goldie Belle Huff Logan, his brother, William Joseph Logan, and his grandson, Zachary Logan.
Bob was a veteran of the US Air Force, having served as a mechanic and crew chief for rescue helicopters. He was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict. He spent most of his life as a long-haul truck driver. He loved the freedom of the open road. He was a devoted father and family man who cherished his grandchildren and his dogs. Bob never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need. He was especially known for his quick wit and winsome, often politically incorrect observations on life and people.
