He was born on September 3, 1968 in Paris, Tennessee.

Mr. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Morris.

He is survived by his two daughters, Brittany Appleton of Milan, Tennessee and Courtney Nanney (Marion) of McKenzie, Tennessee; sister, Tina of Humboldt, Tennessee; and five grandchildren, Leah Appleton, Colby Morris, Chloe Phelps, Leo Nanney and Gunner Nanney.
