Ruby Irene Sims age 93 was born September 18, 1920. She passed October 3, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Sims, siblings; James Elco Lott, Florence Reeves and Loraine Richardson.
Ms. Sims leaves her niece; Pam Nierenberger of Paris, sister; Jesse Pritchett of Memphis, step-daughter; Lois Jean Finley, step-grandchildren; Charles and Gina, great nephew; Matthew Nierenberger and family, great niece; Maggie Underwood and family, great great nephews; Aiden and Adrian Nierenberger, nieces and nephews; Barbara Maxwell and family, Jerry Pritchett and family, Jamie Pritchett and family, Diland Richardson and family, Lummie Richardson and family, Sharon Flake and family, Joann Powell and family, Frances Hutson and family, Linda Reeves and family, Robin Royston and family, along with numerous other family members.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, October 7, 2013, at the Finley United Methodist Church, with Wilber Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Monday from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. at the church.
