Sarah Louise Wren of Trenton, age 70, went to her heavenly home surrounded by loved ones on March 21, 2024, after a long and strong fight with cancer.
Sarah was born in Milan, TN to the late Howard Wren and Mable Miller Wren and grew up in Trenton, TN. Sarah recently retired from Trenton Housing Authority, was a member of the Trenton Elks Lodge where she has served as their secretary, PER, and District Deputy, as well as a member of First Presbyterian Church in Trenton where she served as a Deacon. Sarah enjoyed spending her time volunteering with many different activities including Trenton Teapot Committee and charities at the Elks Lodge. She also enjoyed baking, not only for her family but for others within the community. (Her sourdough bread, pies, teacakes, and candies will most definitely be missed) Sarah was always willing to help anyone who asked with anything that was needed. Sarah will be missed by everyone who has had the privilege of knowing her.
She leaves behind a family that includes 3 children, Jennifer (Dewayne) Coble, Jessica Williams, and Johnathan Williams. In addition to her children she leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Tyler Tole, Hailey Tole, Taylor Williams, Ann Williams, a brother Steve (Sheila) Wren along with sister Gwen Wren.
A memorial service will be held on March 30, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church Trenton with her family accepting visitors from 12pm-2pm and service beginning at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trenton Elks Lodge PER scholarship fund or to First Presbyterian Church in Trenton.
