Sheila Walters

Mrs. Sheila Jolene Mathias Walters age 68 of Milan, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her residence.

She was born May 6, 1953 in Humboldt to the late Charles Mathias and Joy Bogle Mathias. Mrs. Walters was a nurse and retired from Milan General Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Mathias.

Survivors include here husband, Keith Walters of Milan; son, Dustin Walters and wife Caryn of Bradford; daughter, Amber Essary and husband Sean of Lexington; brother, Barry Mathias of Gibson. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Tatum and Nolan.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Walters will be conducted Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of New Shiloh United Methodist Church with Bro. Steven Fonville and Bro. Don Prescott officiating. Burial will follow in Double Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The Walters family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
