Shirley Jane Arnold

Mrs. Shirley Jane Bass Arnold age 68 of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2024, at her residence. 

She was born May 14, 1955, in Gary, Indiana to the late Thurman Bass and Shirley Junita Kitchens Bass. Mrs. Arnold retired after working twenty-five years for Bendix. 

In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers, Cindy Bass, Rita Jean Swigert, Joan Bass, Lanny Bass and Kenny Bass. 

Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years Robert Arnold of Jackson; three sons, Jason Arnold and wife Carol of Jackson, John Arnold and wife Lisa of Humboldt and Joshua Wadley and wife Tiffany of Jackson; two daughters, Jeanna Wise and husband Chuck of Michigan and Jessie Shannon of Dresden; three grandchildren, Taylor Arnold, Rylee Arnold and Peyton Hart. Other survivors include thirteen nieces and nephews, Drew, Breanna, Jaycee, Jordan, Jaylee, Aiden, Madison, Rilee, Chris, Cody, Kristie, Michael and Kerie. 

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Arnold will be conducted Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery. The Arnold family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
