Funeral services for Ms. Shirley Norvell, age 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2015 in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately at Highland Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Norvell died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was born July 21, 1937 in Henning, TN to the late Farris and Lyna Sue Jacobs Turner. Ms. Norvell was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Norvell on October 13, 2001.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Shelia Boswell and husband John of Medina; son, James Norvell and wife Lisa of Pinson; grandchildren, Kimberly White and husband Clayton of Humboldt, Blake Norvell of Pinson; several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation with the family will be held Monday, May 25, 2015 from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
